These spec-grade, sealed downlights are IP64 or 65 rated, and available with a round or square aperture, in a flush or regressed lens designed specifically for tough environments, such as behavioral health facilities, cleanrooms, food and pharmaceutical processing areas, and more.
Select versions also include our exclusive 'Peace of Mind Guarantee', which warranties these fixtures against breakage for the life of the installation.
Kenall offers several options tailored to your space, including the ability to add Indigo‑Clean Technology (ICT), a patented, state‑of‑the‑art technology that kills harmful bacteria via your overhead lighting. This revolutionary new technology combines white light with 405nm indigo light to provide on‑demand disinfection with the flip of your lighting switch.
These 4” downlights are also available with tunable white technology, enabling the user to independently control both color temperature and intensity of light within a given application. Recent studies on health, productivity and comfort suggest that the ability to tune the color temperature of light based on application, event need, or occupant preference yields significant benefits, including a more restful night's sleep and greater alertness during the day.
Finally, these downlights come with optional targeted bandwidth options to add colors that improve technical performance and visual acuity in specialized environments. These new narrow spectrum downlights are available in green, blue, red, and two forms of amber (phosphor and wildlife friendly native), making it the perfect luminaire for applications that benefit from the use of specific wavelengths of light.
